Customer Service Excellence for Student Employees offered this fall

Learning and development is offering a new professional development opportunity, Customer Service Excellence for Student Employees, WTD174. This session is specifically designed for student employees who work in customer service on a regular basis. Student employees should get supervisor approval prior to attending these sessions. Participants will:
- Determine how to know and understand your guests
- Identify important behavioral guidelines
- Describe the difference between on-stage and backstage behaviors/conversations
- Commit to an on-going customer service challenge
Sessions are:
- 10-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, in the Salina Welcome Center
- 10-11:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, in the Edwards Hall Commons
- 2-3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, in Room 226 of the K-State Student Union
- 1:30-3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, in Room 226 of the K-State Student Union
- 10-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, in the Edwards Hall Commons
There is no charge to participants, but registration is necessary to ensure adequate seating and materials. Participants my register through HRIS Self_Enrollment or by sending an email to learning-develop-hr@ksu.edu. When sending an email, please include your name, department, employee ID number, course title and the course number. Supervisors also may send an email to register student employees.
