150th Plaza Memorial honors K-State's sesquicentennial
K-State honors its 150th anniversary with a memorial plaza in front of Anderson Hall. The plaza is on the southwest corner of the Anderson lawn.
The memorial plaza pays tribute to K-State's sesquicentennial celebration completed in October 2013. During the sesquicentennial celebration K-Staters put together historical information to be placed inside a time capsule. This time capsule will be buried at the site of the memorial plaza and will be reopened in 50 years. The memorial plaza will have seating so visitors can enjoy it and the beautiful green space. It is scheduled for completion in September. Details about its dedication will be coming soon.
