Geography colloquium on Friday examines ethanol, US biofuel policy
Ben Munro, doctoral candidate in geography, will give a public lecture at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, in 132 Seaton Hall.
Munro's talk is "The Lost innocence of Ethanol: Power, Knowledge, Discourse and U.S. Biofuel Policy."
Munro is completing his doctorate degree under the direction of Lisa Harrington. His presentation is sponsored by the Beta Psi chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the international geographic honor society and the geography department.
