Communication studies professors present, publish
Three communication studies professors published and presented papers recently.
Sarah E. Riforgiate, assistant professor of communication studies, and a colleague presented a paper at the annual meeting of the National Communication Association, New Orleans, La., Nov. 17-20. The paper was titled, "The Policy Communication Index: A Confirmatory Factor Analysis of the Multi-Dimensional Measure."
LeAnn M. Brazeal, associate professor of communication studies, and colleagues published a paper titled, "Determinants of Issue Emphasis in Gubernatorial and Senatorial Debates" in Human Communication, 2011, Vol. 14, No. 3, pp. 127-136.
Soo-Hye Han, assistant professor of communication studies, and a colleague published a paper titled, "The Mobilized Voter: Portrayals of Electoral Participation in Print News Coverage of Campaign 2008," in American Behavioral Scientist, April, 2011. vol. 55: 419-436.
