Search for College of Agriculture dean advancing
The search process to identify the new dean of the College of Agriculture and director of Research and Extension for K-State is advancing on schedule, according to Dean of Education Michael Holen, chair of the search committee. Prescreening interviews of potential finalists have been completed and arrangements for campus visits are being finalized.
Faculty, students and members of the diverse constituencies of K-State agriculture, research, and extension should try to reserve as much time as possible between the dates of Jan. 16-26, 2012, the general time frame when on-campus interviews are anticipated.
Schedules and informational materials on those individuals interviewing will be available online and will be announced in K-State Today. Interviews are being scheduled to avoid several major potential conflicts with statewide agriculture and extension activities. Seminars will be available online, both live and for 48 hours after the presentations. Assessments of candidates may also be provided online.
