Registration open for Winter Advising Institute
Dear colleagues:
Registration is open for participation in the K-State/National Academic Advising Association Advising Winter Mini-Institute. This year's mini-institute will focus on issues in career advising and will be from 1-4:15 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, in the Little Theatre at the K-State Student Union.
The program features Phil Gardner, director of the Collegiate Employment Research Institute at Michigan State University; Ken Hughey, College of Education at Kansas State University; Charlie Nutt, National Academic Advising Association executive director, Kansas State University; and a panel discussion on K-State professional mentoring programs and plans for their further development.
As always, the mini-institute is free and open to all members of the K-State community. While we hope to accommodate all interested parties, participation is guaranteed only to the first 75 registrants.
Please contact Steve Dandaneau, vice provost for undergraduate studies, and Carla Jones, co-chair of the University Advising Committee, at 785-532-1097 for more information or with questions.
