Participants still needed for marching band golf tournament
The Kansas State University Marching Band is looking for golfers to play in their Skelton Marching Pride Scholars Golf Tournament.
This fun outing will be held at Topeka’s beautiful new Firekeeper Golf Course on Thursday, July 28, and will help raise funds for the marching band’s new Skelton Scholars account. The Skelton Marching Pride Scholars program is designed to help K-State students continue to play in the marching band and reward students’ hard work, dedication, leadership, and wildcat spirit.
Your participation in this tournament will help strengthen the K-State band and ensure the spirit, pride, and energy of one of the nation's top university marching bands!
Entries are only $100 per golfer and anyone is welcome to play. The entry fee will get you a great day of golf, cart, food, free stuff, and an opportunity for prizes. You can find registration forms online or call Frank Tracz, director of bands, at 785-532-3816 for more information. We are also still accepting hole sponsorships, student sponsorships, and food sponsorships. Let us know if you would like to golf and we will see you on the July 28!
