K-State biology graduate student wins Konza Prairie Volunteer Award
Anna Zahner, graduate student in the Division of Biology, was recently awarded the 2014 Konza Prairie Docent Trainee of the Year award. Zahner began training as a new Konza Prairie docent in March 2014 and completed her training in September 2014.
In the interim she provided more than 50 hours of volunteer time by leading nature trail hikes, bison loop tours and hands-on science activities.
