Explore, indulge in different cultures, languages from native speakers
Every semester, K-State's International Student and Scholar Services sponsors a noncredit class known as the Basic Language Training Program. This semester, the service is offering six languages: Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish. The class will meet for an hour two times a week for six weeks and will be taught by native speakers who can provide insight on the culture and history of their home countries.
See a schedule of classes and an online registration form. Registration must be completed with the payment of $25 before 4 p.m. Jan. 30. Only cash and checks made payable to International Student and Scholar Services are accepted. To guarantee a spot, complete registration early as space is limited to 13 students per class.
Classes are Feb. 2 through March 13. For questions, contact isss@k-state.edu or call 785-532-6448.
