Submitted by Sarah McGreer Hoyt
"The Library and Your Research" is a free workshop series that aims to help graduate students enhance and professionalize their scholarly pursuits. The series is sponsored by the Graduate Student Council and K-State Libraries.
The first installment, "Using RefWorks," will be today — Monday — from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Like the remaining workshops in the series, "Using RefWorks," meets in 407 Hale Library.

Topics will include setting up a RefWorks account, learning how to import, organize and edit citations, how to insert citations directly into a Word document, creating bibliographies and more. Computers will be provided but participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops in order to set up Write N Cite on their computer.

You will explore what it means to you as a student in the classroom, a researcher, a scholarly writer and a graduate teaching assistant. The goal of the workshop will be for you to be aware of rules and regulations, understand how to report violations, and know resources to assist you in your own work and writing.
