Request for proposals: Global Food Systems Innovation Grant program
The Office of the Vice President for Research requests proposals for the Global Food Systems Innovation Grant program. The grant program is part of the university's Global Food Systems initiative and is funded by the state of Kansas to assist with job creation and economic development in Kansas as well as help the state remain a leader in food production.
Applications should be for innovative research in all aspects of global food systems including, but not limited to, increasing food production, better management of water and other resources related to food production and distribution, food safety, and increasing food nutritional value and literacy. Innovative educational and outreach proposals related to global food systems topics and studies related to the policy, social concerns and economic factors that help drive food systems will be considered also.
Only K-State faculty and staff members are eligible to apply for seed grant funding as part of the program.
