Undergraduate research program poster session Aug. 3
The Research Experience for Undergraduates Summer Academy in Sustainable Bioenergy will host a student poster session from 9:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Aug. 3, in the Fiedler Atrium.
All are invited to attend.
The poster session is the concluding event of the summer program and will feature bioenergy research. The academy includes undergraduates from universities across the country that have spent the summer at K-State. The research projects are aimed at providing students with multidisciplinary team experience in sustainable bioenergy. The projects also are designed to enhance student understanding of agricultural, technical and socioeconomic issues related to sustainable production of biofuels.
The departments of agronomy, agricultural economics, biological and agricultural engineering, chemical engineering and grain science and industry participated.
The Research Experience for Undergraduates program is offered through the Center for Sustainable Energy with support provided by the National Science Foundation.
