Communicators' Brown Bag: Augmented reality technology March 26
Join the Communicators' Brown Bag group from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 26 in the K-State Student Union's K Ballroom to learn about augmented reality technology being used for a new marketing campaign with the Office of Admissions.
The Division of Communications and Marketing has been working with the Office of Admissions to create a new marketing campaign to prospective students using augmented reality technologies. Michael Oetken and Ben Cleveland, Division of Communications and Marketing, will show some examples of this work.
Augmented reality describes a technology that blends digital content into our real world. Through augmented reality, it is possible to digitally enrich images, objects or even geographic locations in the real world with digital content from a mobile device. Augmented reality experiences can be built with 3-D models, video, Web links, sounds and other digital media available to modern smart devices.
