KSDB-FM students win multiple awards in Kansas Association of Broadcasters Competition
KSDB-FM, the Kansas State University student-operated and managed radio station, was recognized with 31 awards by the Kansas Association of Broadcasters for 2015.
Participating students earned 17 awards in the undergraduate category and 14 awards in the graduate category. In the undergraduate division, KSDB-FM students received six first place awards, seven second place awards and four honorable mentions. At the graduate level, KSDB-FM students earned 10 first place awards, two second place awards and two honorable mentions.
The awards honor KSDB-FM students as first-place winners in the undergraduate radio sections: PSA, Public Affairs Program, Complete Live Newscast, Enterprise News Package, Complete Sports Feature and Sportscast. First place awards for KSDB-FM in the graduate radio sections: PSA, Public Affairs Program, Complete Live Newscast, Enterprise News Package, Complete News Feature, Complete Sports Feature, Sportscast, Sports-Play-by-Play, Entertainment Program and Research Paper.
