Medicare confusion eliminated: Medicare Basics wellness workshops in April
Submitted by Human Capital Services Benefits
Human Capital Services, along with K-State Research and Extension, will offer two sessions of Medicare Basics for the K-State community in April. The sessions will be from 3-5 p.m. April 20 in 103 Edwards Hall and 6-8 p.m. April 23 in the Alumni Center Banquet Room B and C.
Medicare can be very confusing. Supplemental plans to Medicare can be even more confusing. Would you like some answers to help with the confusion? If you are 55 or older and thinking of retirement in a couple of years, or if you are assisting parents looking forward to retirement, this is a session for you.
Please join us for an unbiased informational Medicare Basics session presented by Jennifer Wilson, Riley County extension agent and SHICK partner. Wilson will help make sense of the alphabet soup called Medicare. She'll present clear and precise information on what you need to think about as retirement becomes a reality rather than just a dream. Wilson has been providing this session for several years for our K-State employees.
To register go to HRIS Employee Self Service, Learning and Development, KSU Training Enrollment and click on Medicare Basics, WTD137, and select the session you would like to attend.
Guests of employees are welcome, but need to be added separately via email to learning-develop-hr@ksu.edu.
