Starrett appointed to second three-year term as director of Honor and Integrity System
Steven K. Starrett, associate professor of civil engineering, has been appointed to a second consecutive three-year term as director of the Honor and Integrity System.
With Camilla Roberts, associate director, and the faculty, staff and student volunteers who compose the Honor Council, Starrett leads the university's effort to promote fidelity to K-State's Honor Code. Devised originally through collaboration between the Student Governing Association and the Faculty Senate, the Honor and Integrity Systems provides for the timely and fair adjudication of cases of alleged violation of the Honor Code.
We thank Starrett for his willingness to continue to provide valued leadership in this vital area of university administration. Appreciation is due also to Heather Reed, Alison Wheatley, Daralyn Gordon Arata, and to Cody Kennedy, 2014-15 vice president of the Student Governing Association, for their service on the Reappointment Review Committee. Thanks also to the Office of Planning and Analysis as well as to the many university community members who helpfully responded to the official reappointment process survey.
