K-State Band to host fifth annual scholarship golf tournament June 19
The K-State Pride of Wildcat Land Marching Band's fifth annual Marching Pride Scholars Golf Tournament will be Friday, June 19, at Manhattan's Colbert Hills Golf Course.
The tournament is a fundraiser to help the Marching Pride Scholars program. Financial support of this program will help keep the K-State Marching Band cheering for Wildcat victories and Wabashing as one of the biggest and best university marching bands in the land. The band is looking for corporations/departments/schools to advertise and sponsor holes, carts and food for the event.
The tournament also is looking for anyone who is interested in playing golf at the Colbert Hills' course while helping K-State students succeed at the same time. You can sign up with a four-person team, pairs or as an individual.
For more information, sponsorship and golfer registration please contact Frank Tracz, director of bands, at 785-532-3816, or check out the K-State band's website. Registration and sponsorship forms are available and all proceeds go toward the Marching Pride Scholarship fund. Sign up your corporation/department or four-person team today.
