CrossFit to host open house Wednesday
K-State CrossFit is having an open house from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31. Stop by 4 Natatorium, and see what K-State CrossFit is all about.
Take on our physical challenge for the chance to win a free month of classes. Participate in a free workout from 11:15 a.m. to noon, 1-1:45 p.m., 4:45-5:30 p.m. or 6:30-7:15 p.m., or watch our regular classes at noon and 5:30 p.m.
Come and meet our certified and well-trained coaches. Get to know our current members of all ages who have improved their strength, power, flexibility, body composition, balance, speed, energy levels, agility; have overcome persistent injuries; have reversed their osteoporosis; have lowered their resting heart rate; and have lowered their cholesterol levels. Learn about future research opportunities.
If you are bored with your current workout routine, bothered by an old injury, want to improve your physique, or want to learn new skills, CrossFit is for you. We welcome all ages; we even have youth classes.
High energy workouts are led by a certified and trained coach in a group setting. Workouts are constantly varied to include a combination of running, sprinting, rowing, jumping, weightlifting, Olympic lifting, kettlebells, rope climbs, throwing, gymnastics and much more.
All movements are scaled to each individual's fitness and ability level. There is no need to "get in shape" before coming to CrossFit. We'll meet you where you are and help you meet your goals. You can do CrossFit to improve or maintain your fitness or even to participate in CrossFit events and competitions locally and nationally.
