Kansas Breastfeeding Coalition hosts focus groups for K-State employees

The Kansas Breastfeeding Coalition wants to hear from women at K-State and in Kansas about the breastfeeding experience at their workplace. If you have experienced breastfeeding while working at the business/organization and your baby is 18 months old or less, you are invited to participate in a focus group.
Three focus groups are scheduled:
- 5:30–6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, in the Groesbeck Conference Room at the Manhattan Public Library, 629 Poyntz Ave., Manhattan.
- 10-11 a.m. Saturday, June 27, in the Groesbeck Conference Room at the Manhattan Public Library, 629 Poyntz Ave., Manhattan.
- 6-7 p.m. Thursday, June 25, at the Olathe Public Library, 201 E. Park St., Olathe.
Share your experiences and perceptions as a working breastfeeding woman regarding workplace breastfeeding support. Your participation the focus group lead by the Kansas Breastfeeding Coalition will help the coalition understand the needs of breastfeeding employees.
The focus group will be about an hour. Participants will receive a $30 gift card for compensation. Light refreshments and beverages will be provided. Your information from the interview will be kept confidential.
