Follett Higher Education Group expands its service to Kansas State University as it assumes management of the Union Computer Store and Cats’ Den convenience store July 1.
Follett was awarded the contract to provide bookstore services to the K-State community and opened its doors as the K-State Campus Store in 2013. As the leading provider of bookstore services and the foremost supplier of used books in North America, Follett serves 5 million students with more than 1,000 stores.
"We are excited about our growing partnership with Follett and are looking forward to their continued success," said Bill Smriga, Union executive director.
The computer store and Cats’ Den will be closed Monday, June 29, through Sunday, July 5, to complete inventory audits and to accommodate the transition. Store operations will return to regular business hours Monday, July 6.
Information about the K-State Campus Store, its products and services can be found online at union.k-state.edu. Further inquiries regarding the transition can be sent to akagdis@k-state.edu.
