Participants needed for research of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy for depression
Marriage and family therapy program researchers are looking for participants with symptoms of depression who are interested in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, or EMDR, therapy.
Those who meet the criteria for the study will be invited to five consecutive weeks of therapy sessions of two sessions a week. Brain activity will be monitored through an EEG cap during these sessions at K-State's Family Center in College of Human Ecology, at the Campus Creek Complex.
Participants will receive therapy at no cost and $30 at the one-month follow-up session. If interested contact Zenova Williams at zwilliams@k-state.edu.
