Self-Esteem and Empowerment for Women support group
Using the book "Self-Esteem and Empowerment for Women," K-State's Family Center support group will focus on eliminating chaos in one's life, increasing self-esteem, developing skills for assertiveness, letting go of the need to be perfect, overcoming hurt, coping with stress, developing a positive attitude, and more.
The group will meet from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Sept. 16 through Dec. 9, at the Family Center in the Campus Creek Complex. There is a $5 fee per session for the support group and participants will need to purchase a copy of the book "Self-Esteem and Empowerment for Women," edited by Linda Ellis Eastman.
If interested in joining this support group, please register prior to Sept. 10. If you would like to register for the group, or would like more information regarding this group, please contact Chelsea Spencer at cspencer@k-state.edu or Nicole Gonzalez at nmhorn@k-state.edu.
