Soil biochemist to present Roscoe Ellis Jr. Lectureship in Soil Science Feb. 29
An international soil scientist and authority on carbon and nitrogen flows in agricultural ecosystems will present the 29th annual Roscoe Ellis Jr. Lectureship in Soil Science at 4 p.m. Feb. 29 in 1018 Throckmorton Hall. The title of the lecture by Henry Janzen, research scientist in soil biochemistry with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada at Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, is “Soil as Story: Probing the Past, Exploring the Future.”
The lecture is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served at 3:30 p.m. in the lobby of Throckmorton Hall.
