National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program submission tips session offered
The National Science Foundation's Graduate Research Fellowship Program, or NSF GRFP, supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees. A session from 3:30-5 p.m. Oct. 5 in the K-State Alumni Center lecture room will take an in-depth look at the requirements for an NSF GFRP proposal submission.
A panel of faculty members who have served on review panels for this program will discuss tips and provide advice that you will not find in the request for proposals.
Students also will have an opportunity to talk about their research ideas with the panel. If you are serious about submitting to this program, this is a session you should not miss.
This training session is sponsored by the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, the Graduate School and the Office of Nationally Competitve Scholarships. Contact Mary Lou Marino at mlmarino@k-state.edu or 785-532-6195 for more information.
