K-State chapter of Golden Key International Honour Society to host regional summit on campus this weekend
Kansas State University will welcome Golden Key International Honour Society members to campus this weekend for the Region 6 summit.
Students from North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas and Kansas will attend the summit. Friday begins with a keynote speech by Mike Finnegan, instructor of leadership studies. Entertainment by Cadence, a university a capella group, will follow. Saturday will include breakout sessions over topics such as resume critiquing, study abroad, graduate school information and more. A panel of Manhattan-area professionals will also be offered, with Dave Dreiling of GTM Sportswear and the Starbucks district manager scheduled to participate. Saturday afternoon will feature a service activity with four opportunities available through HandsOn Kansas State. The day will conclude with dinner and entertainment provided by On The Spot Improv.
