Intersession Q-and-A for faculty Nov. 4
Interested in teaching intersession between standard university semesters?
Attend an intersession Q-and-A session for faculty from 3-4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, in the K-State Student Union Little Theatre. Learn how you can offer on-campus, off-campus and online classes during intersession, how to create new topics courses, and details about funding and payment.
A faculty member who teaches intersession, Sarah Riforgiate, assistant professor of communication studies, will be available to answer questions from a faculty perspective. Light refreshments will be served.
Nov. 13 is the deadline to submit course proposals for May and August 2016 intersession. Both sessions are part of the summer 2016 semester. May 2016 intersession is May 13-June 3, 2016, and August 2016 intersession is held Aug. 1-19, 2016.
