The Kansas State University club was founded in 1995 and joined the league in 1998. The team qualified for national tournament for the first time in 2000 and finished in the Final Four. It has been to nationals six times — 2000, 2001, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. This year, the team has won the preseason Great Plains Collegiate Inline Hockey League championship; are undefeated within our division, 4-0; and are in a tie for first place in the Great Plains Region. The coach fully expect us to be invited to the NIT in April for the fifth year in a row.
Checkout some great intercollegiate hockey all day Saturday and Sunday. Especially come out and support your home team at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. both days. These are the only league games that will be played in Kansas during the 2015-16 season.
