Men's choir to perform at Honor Concert in Wichita tonight
The K-State men's choir, under the direction of Joshua Oppenheim, assistant professor of music, was selected by competitive audition to perform at the Honor Concert at the Kansas Music Educators Association Conference at 8 p.m. tonight.
Each year, the Kansas Music Educators selects two collegiate ensembles from the state of Kansas to perform the Honor Concert at the annual KMEA Conference in the Century II Concert Hall in Wichita. This concert will be feature the University of Kansas wind ensemble followed by the K-State men's choir. This is the first time the men's choir has been selected for this prestigious honor in the 124-year history of the group.
The concert is free and open to the public.
