First CES events of the semester
Career and Employment Services will host the first Walk-In Wednesday of the semester from noon to 4 p.m. today in Holtz Hall. Students can get their resume reviewed, discover job opportunities, set up a mock interview, or just ask a quick question. No appointment necessary.
Be sure to check out the Career Closet and Resume Critiques event from noon to 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, in the K-State Student Union's Cottonwood Room. Students are able to take home a limited number of gently used men's or women's business attire. Students may also get their resumes critiqued. Koch Industries, Inc. is a sponsor of this event.
Don't forget to register online for the Mock Interviews for International Students workshop by Jan. 25. Students will learn how to make a good impression and effectively tell their story in an interview. The event will be Tuesday, Feb. 2.
Also, don't miss out on the Agri-Industry Career Fair from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, in the Union Ballroom. Students can network with over 85 organizations offering internships, part-time and full-time jobs. Students are encouraged to dress professionally, bring multiple copies of their resume, and download the K-State CES app to access the Agri-Industry Career Fair guide.
