Call for presentations for the Conference on Applied Statistics in Agriculture
The 28th annual Kansas State University Conference on Applied Statistics in Agriculture will take place May 1-3 at the Hilton Garden Inn and Convention Center in Manhattan. The submission deadline for presentation abstracts is
Feb. 1.
This annual conference provides a forum for discussion of statistical issues motivated by agricultural problems and brings together statisticians from academia, industry and government to discuss ideas and advancements in agricultural statistics. More information is available online.
The 2016 conference will feature an Additions and Upgrades in Our Everyday Statistical Toolbox workshop and a keynote address, "Applying Deming's Principles for Management and Teaching to Spur Excellence in Research" presented by Ralph O'Brien, professor emeritus of biostatistics at Case Western Reserve University.
