Martin Luther King Jr. Diverse Student Leader Reception
This year marks the 12th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Diverse Student Leader Reception hosted by the Diversity Programs Office in the College of Agriculture and the Kansas State University Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences chapter.
The reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 25, in 137 Waters Hall. Faculty, staff and students from across campus are invited to attend this wonderful event. Drinks and refreshments will be served. The reception seminar provides students the opportunity to learn about the civil rights movement, current diversity issues and the importance of Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream.
Freddie Richards, immediate past dean and professor in the College of Agriculture and Human Sciences at Prairie View A&M University, will be the speaker.
