Provost names search committee for interim CIO and vice provost for information technology services
April Mason, provost and senior vice president, has appointed the search committee for an interim chief information officer and vice provost for information technology services. This will be an internal search with an anticipated start date of March 28.
Search committee members are:
• Brian Niehoff, chair, associate provost for institutional effectiveness
• Kathy Burkholder, director of information systems, K-State Global Campus
• Lynn Carlin, special assistant to the provost
• Cody Clair, senior in management information systems, SGA technology director
• Donald Crawford, manager of information systems, College of Architecture, Planning and Design
• Ian Czarnezki, director of operations, Office of Research and Sponsored Projects
• Alma Deutsch, director of resource center and operations, Human Capital Services
• Danny Fronce, associate director of network and telecommunications services, ITS
• Robert Gamez, director of student financial assistance, Office of Student Life
• Roberta Johnson, director of administrative and IT services, K-State Libraries
• Steve Logback, associate vice president, Division of Communications and Marketing
• Fran Willbrant, assistant vice president, Division of Financial Services
The interim chief information officer and vice provost for information technology services will take over leadership for Ken Stafford who will be retiring in March. A national search will be conducted for permanent leadership with more details to follow.
