Registration open for the Farm to Fork 5K
The Kansas State University Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow Club will host the second Farm to Fork 5K Saturday, April 16. The race will kick off K-State's All-University Open House and honor this year's theme, Rooted in Purple, by highlighting agriculture in the state.
The run is a fundraiser for the Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow chapter and will begin and end at the Large Animal Reproduction Center, one of the many livestock units of the university. The run is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. and will end at 9:30 a.m.
The runners can expect to see the different animal units of the university and signs about agriculture along the route. The race is designed to give runners a look into Kansas agriculture.
Registration is $25 per person and includes a T-shirt and donuts at the finish line. If you or your company would like to sponsor the race or have questions about the Farm to Fork 5K, contact Mikhayla DeMott at mrdemott@k-state.edu.
