Geography faculty candidate to discuss using models to understand the functioning of soils and landscapes

Arnaud Temme, assistant professor in the soil geography and landscape department at Wageningen University in Wageningen, Netherlands, will give a public seminar at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, in the Leadership Studies Building's Town Hall. The title of the presentation is "Taking your Model Out on a Run: Using Field Data and Models to Understand the Functioning of Soils and Landscapes."

Temme is a candidate for the earth system scientist/physical geographer faculty position in the geography department, which is seeking someone to conduct cutting-edge research on earth surface processes, including fluvial systems and water resources. 

The presentation is sponsored by the Beta Psi chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon and the geography department.
