U.S. Department of Agriculture task force to meet Sept. 21-22 at K-State
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Air Quality Task Force will have a meeting Sept. 21-22 at K-State. At the meeting, the task force will continue discussions on critical air quality issues relating to agriculture, said Chuck Rice, university distinguished professor of agronomy and member of the task force.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will convene at 8 a.m. on both days and conclude at 5 p.m. Sept. 21 and 4 p.m. Sept. 22. A public comment period will be held.
The meeting will be at the K-State Alumni Center, 17th Street and Anderson Avenue in Manhattan.
