Student Alumni Board selects 13 new members to assist K-State Alumni Association
Thirteen Kansas State University students recently were selected to serve on Student Alumni Board, a group of approximately 40 students who promote and serve the university and the K-State Alumni Association. Student Alumni Board works to enhance the K-State experience by creating a link between the K-State Alumni Association and past, present and future students.
Student Alumni Board members are responsible for planning and hosting several programs to recruit students to K-State, including the For Sophomores Only program for high school sophomores and the Just For Juniors program for high school juniors and their parents. Student Alumni Board members also coordinate and assist with Wildcats Forever Student Alumni Association, Grad Bash, the Distinguished Young Alumni Award, Junior Wildcats Club and other Alumni Association programs and events.
"This is a group of well-rounded, creative and engaged students who are passionate about their university," said Amanda Lee, Student Alumni Board adviser and assistant director of student programs for the association. "We look forward to working with them to promote and enhance the K-State experience."

Shane Maloney, Andover, sophomore in construction sciences and management, son of Rob and Marie Maloney.
Drew Young, Burlington, sophomore in biological systems engineering, son of Doug and Teresa Young.
Jeffrey Hadachek, Cuba, sophomore in agricultural economics, son of Merle and Deb Hadachek.
Cooper McGuire, Gardner, freshman in vocal performance, son of Michael and Robyn McGuire.
Summer Smith, Hays,freshman in marketing, daughter of Monty and Lois Smith.
Baylee Heitschmidt, Hutchinson, freshman in secondary education, daughter of Tamara and Cody Heitschmidt.
Hallie Lucas, Leavenworth, freshman in biology, natural resources and conservation sciences, daughter of Floyd and Sheila Lucas.
Kevin Kellerman, Leawood, freshman in computer engineering, son of Tim and Nancy Kellerman.
Matt Grosdidier, Lenexa, sophomore in mechanical engineering, son of Phil and Cathy Grosdidier.
Victoria Thomas, Lenexa, freshman in bio-environmental engineering, daughter of Anna and Bruce Thomas.
Jordan Eberhardy, Olathe, freshman in kinesiology, pre-physical therapy, daughter of Lisa and Richard Eberhardy.
Gabrielle Riggs, Shawnee, sophomore in marketing, daughter of Michael and Susan Riggs.
