Legislative update
This is the final week of the regular 2016 legislative session. The Legislature will adjourn and return April 27 for the 2016 veto session.
This week will see long days both on the House and Senate floors and in many conference committee meetings. Legislators are working to complete multiple pieces of legislation prior to adjournment late this week.
Also on the agenda for this week is consideration of legislation to address the ruling handed down by the Kansas Supreme Court in February for public education in Kansas.
