Associate professor selected to serve on the Environmental Design Research Association's board of directors
Vibhavari Jani, associate professor of interior architecture & product design in the College of Architecture, Planning & Design, has been elected to serve on the Environmental Design Research Association's board of directors for 2016-2017.
Jani has been a member of the association for 11 years. The Environmental Design Research Association is an international, interdisciplinary organization founded in 1968 by design professionals, social scientists, students, educators and facility managers.
"Professor Jani has a long history of selflessly serving the profession for the betterment of humanity and this is a wonderful honor and opportunity. Her insight and perspective is valued and is impacted by cultural as well as disciplinary diversity she brings," said Katherine Ankerson, professor and department head for interior architecture & product design and an association member.
