Campus family invited to event honoring former Vice Provost Beth Unger
Faculty, students and friends are invited to a day of honoring the career and contributions of Beth Unger, former professor of computer science and K-State vice provost for academic services.
The event will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 29 in the Hartford Room of the Bluemont Hotel, beginning with a continental breakfast, followed by keynote addresses from both Noel Schulz, associate dean for research and graduate programs in the College of Engineering, and David Schmidt, professor emeritus of the department of computing and information sciences in the college. There also will be faculty presentations in the morning, followed by a catered lunch and further faculty and alumni presentations.
Reservations are required and can be made by emailing Sheryl Cornell, program coordinator for the department of computing and information sciences, at cornell@k-state.edu no later than Friday, April 15.
