Graduate Student Council and the K-State Postdoc Association partner to present seminar April 22
The Graduate Student Council and the K-State Postdoc Association are partnering up for the seminar, "Exploring Intellectual Property and Patent Law as a Career Choice for Ph.D./Master's in STEM fields."
The seminar will be from noon to 1:15 p.m. Friday, April 22, in the K-State Student Union's Big 12 Room.
Here's a chance to explore alternative career options for graduate students and postdocs in patent law, interact with three panelists with backgrounds and experience in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, or STEM, fields:
• Kimberly Ann Honeycutt, Ph.D., J.D., patent attorney and previous patent agent.
• Kenneth Williams, director of licensing at K-State.
• Christopher Brandt, J.D., vice president of technology transfer at K-State.
A free lunch is offered to the first 70 participants to register. The deadline to register is 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 20.
