Communicators' Brown Bag Thursday features social media expert

Submitted by Stephanie Jacques

The Communicators' Brown Bag will feature Scott Stebner, managing director for the Center for Rural Enterprise Engagement, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 21, in the Cottonwood Room of the K-State Student Union.

Stebner is a seasoned social media marketer, small business owner and experienced educator from San Diego, California. He received his bachelor's degree in agricultural education from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and recently completed his master's degree in agricultural communications from Kansas State University.

Aside from running a successful business that is promoted only through social media, Stebner also conducts research that explores how rural businesses can use social media to develop profitable relationships with consumers.
