National Strategic Selling Institute to host the Victaulic Sales Invitational April 3-4
The National Strategic Selling Institute in the College of Business Administration will host the first annual Victaulic Sales Invitational, sponsored by Victaulic Co.
Students can register to compete for cash prizes; first place receives $300, second place $200, and third place $100.
The competition will involve a role play selling a Victaulic product. Role plays will be judged by representatives from Victaulic and other area companies. Once a student registers, he or she will receive information about the role play, including product information.
Registered students will be given priority registration for a variety of professional development workshops designed to enhance selling skills and can also submit their resumes to a resume book that will be provided to employers at our K-State Sales Week Career Fair that will take place the same week.
Competition winners will be announced at an awards luncheon Thursday, April 5; you do not have to be present at the luncheon to win.
Registration is free for all K-State students.
Nonregistered students will also be able to attend the professional development workshops and the career fair. Due to limited seating in the professional development workshops, however, priority will be given to registered students for these events.
For more information on these events, please see the College of Business Administration calendar or contact Dawn Deeter, director of the institute, at ddeeter@k-state.edu, 785-532-6880, or on Twitter, @dawndeeter.
