'Benefit' Your Team session offered June 7
Submitted by Human Capital Services, Learning and Development
"Benefit" Your Team, WTD176, will be offered from 10-11:15 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, in 123 Leadership Studies Building.
A supervisor is often the first person an employee contacts when he/she needs time off or has an issue that the K-State benefits department can assist with. Therefore, it is vital that supervisors have a clear understanding of benefit programs to support their team and enable team members to be productive and fully supported in their roles.
As a result of this session, participants will:
- Become familiar with K-State's Policy and Procedure manual in regards to leave programs.
- Identify benefits that may help to support your team and the appropriate situations those benefits can be applied.
This course is offered in conjunction with the Introduction to Supervision, WTD077, series, and seating is limited. Introduction to Supervision is a training series specifically designed for university support staff supervisors.
To register for this session, you can either sign up through HRIS self-service or send an email to Samantha Roberts at learning-develop-hr@k-state.edu. When sending an email, please include your name, employee ID and the course title.
