Participants needed for therapeutic interventions for depression study
Marriage and family therapy program researchers are looking for participants with symptoms of depression. Those who meet the criteria for the study will be invited to five consecutive weeks of therapy sessions of two sessions per week. Brain activity will be monitored through an EEG cap during these sessions at K-State's Family Center, College of Human Ecology, in Campus Creek Complex.
Participants will receive therapy at no cost and $30 at the one-month follow-up session. Eligible participants will be randomly assigned to either a eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy group or cognitive behavioral therapy group.
