Movement Challenge week one results

The 2016 Movement Challenge week one ended Aug. 27 and K-Staters are really getting active! About 762 participants from all over Kansas have been working toward their physical activity goals and the results are in.
This year's Movement Challenge includes two ways for departments to compete. At the end of the challenge HCS will name one department the winner of highest activity and one department the winner of highest participation. And for those of you that are independently competitive, we've also added an individual leaderboard as well.
The department with the highest average daily activity is… the Budget Office:

K-State's average daily activity per person was 8,959 steps for week one. That's a great average to start out with. Remember we are practicing progress. Let's work hard to bring the daily average up a little each week. Each day is a new opportunity to take a step toward a healthier you. It's never too late to start participating.
