Food insecure students needed for research study
Submitted by Miranda Klugesherz
K-State researchers are conducting a study that attempts to engage the voices of students who experience hunger or food insecurity to learn more about their experiences while in school. It is estimated that 1 in 3 college students experience hunger or food insecurity at least once in their university career.
Participants will be asked to take pictures of their life for two weeks before participating in an individual interview as well as a group discussion to discuss the photos. Informed consent will be be requested at an initial meeting prior to the photography period. Participants will receive compensation for their time.
Please email Miranda Klugesherz at mklugesherz@k-state.edu or call 719-205-8774 if you would like more information or to participate.
