University Advising Committee awards five professional development grants
The University Advising Committee awarded five fall semester professional development grants.
Recipients include Kris Boone, department head and professor of communications and agricultural education; Heather Moore, academic coach in the Academic Assistance Center; Alyssa Mustard, advisor, Kansas State Polytechnic Academic Services; Natalie Pennington, assistant professor of communication studies; and Susan Watt, pre-health advisor in the College of Human Ecology.
Thanks also to the professional development grant selection committee: Stephanie Bannister, co-chair, Leena Chakrabarti, Brad Cunningham and Tanya Gonzalez.
The committee awards up to five grants of up to $750 each semester. Spring semester funding will be announced in January 2017. All faculty and staff are eligible to apply for support.
