Men ages 60 or older needed for pie-eating research
Researchers in the food, nutrition, dietetics and health department seek participants ages 60 years and older for a nutrition study. The study involves coming into the lab, eating chocolate pie and remaining in the lab for six hours while researchers monitor your metabolic response.
Specifically, men 60 or older who do not engage in regular exercise are needed for the study. Eligible participants cannot be using cholesterol- or lipid-lowering medication.
Participants will receive valuable information regarding personal health status, including metabolic markers and body composition and free chocolate pie. Participants also will receive $20. While in the lab, participants can be on a computer, read, etc.
