Indian Student Association hosting Sanskriti 2016: A Celebration of Indian Culture Nov. 12
K-State's Indian Student Association, an official student organization, is hosting Sanskriti 2016: A Celebration of Indian Culture on Saturday, Nov. 12, at Forum Hall in the K-State Student Union.
A preshow will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will include a cultural workshop and exhibition, henna tattoo station, bangles giveaway, fashion show, Indian sweets and snacks and more.
The free celebration also will feature performances from K-Staters, members of the Institute of Tamil Performing Arts, Lavanya Raghuraman, Divya Sindhu. View a PDF poster for more information.
The Sanskriti celebration has gained popularity over the years and has evolved as one of the most successful multicultural festivals at K-State, which portrays the diversity, cultural evolution and unity in India. K-State students irrespective of their national and cultural backgrounds participate in the celebration.
The event is free and open to the public.
