K-State/NACADA Winter Undergraduate Academic Advising Institute
The University Advising Committee invites you to mark your calendars for the fourth annual K-State/NACADA Winter Undergraduate Academic Advising Institute, featuring Wendy G. Troxel, director of NACADA's Center for Research at K-State. The institute is scheduled for 1-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, in Town Hall at the Leadership Studies Building.
A professional development opportunity for K-State faculty and staff who have an interest in academic advising, the Winter Institute also will feature an update from the University Advising Committee's Subcommittee on Transfer Student Advising, co-chaired by Deana Core and Mechelle Martinez. This group is itself a happy result of last year's Winter Institute focus on transfer student advising.
The institute is free and open to all K-Staters. Snacks will be provided. Please register online and send questions to Steve Dandaneau at dandaneau@k-state.edu or Stephanie Bannister at sbann@k-state.edu.
